The Chalets

There are 3 chalets in total and each one can accommodate up to 5 people.

Each chalet has solar panel charging a battery to provide a light in the chalets.

A camping fridge/freezer is available for guests to use as well as a gas hob in the lapa area.

The chalets have ensuite bathrooms with water supplied by solar panels and the separate bathroom rondavels have a donkey that is lit to heat water.

Tarentaal

Currently being renovated.

Double bed and two single beds. Room for an extra bed as requested.

Living area and small kitchen area.

   

 Kolgans

Set on the banks of the Vals river with beautiful views across the water, Kolgans has its own private deck area and lower braai area.

Inside there are two double beds and one single bed and a large kitchen.

There is also an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Kolgans is set away from the other chalets and provides more privacy should you require it.

Hammerkop

Set next to the bathroom rondavels but away from the main lapa, Hammerkop has one double bed and two single beds.

There is a small kitchen area and stoep looking to the river.

Bathrooms rondavels

Each rondavel has 2 toilets, 2 shower cubicles and 1 bath.

These are available for all chalets to make use of and water is heated by the donkey fire nearby.

Kitchen

There is an open kitchen area for all guests to use.

Here there are two double sinks and plenty of work surface with a tiled splash back.

The hob and fridge are situated in the main lapa.

Main Lapa

The lapa has direct views over the river and cane wind breaks around with the rustic thatched roof. Here there are tables and chairs a bar area, fridge/freezer and gas hob for the guests use.
